Moving to Maine

So I’m leaving to move to Maine. No reason to be hidden about it anymore – but was a decision I had to think long and hard about for a lot of reasons.  I got a fantastic opportunity with a company in Kennebunk, Maine called DRI (Digital Research Inc.) which is looking to make a strong amount of change in their Technology department.  I was up to meet with them and that one meeting was enough to close me on how good the opportunity was.  Great team, great environment, with a lot of skill, I feel really good about this position.  Absolutely beautiful state…having grown up in Massachusetts, I was used to Winter but totally forgot how beautiful certain aspects of the state are.  Really blows my mind.  I think overall this is a great step forward, but also a big one in terms of resources needed to accommodate a move of this size.  I’ll be posting more about the steps in the big move from AZ to ME and hopefully someone can learn from my mistakes I’ll make setting this move across the nation.
